Place an Order

Here’s what’s needed to order a commission:

1. Choose a high resolution photo to work from (you can send several and I’d be happy to help choose which one might make a great piece). Consider the amount of detail included in the photograph. This can make a BIG difference to the final piece. If I can’t see the detail, it’s extremely hard to make it up. If you’re ordering a pet portrait, think of a picture that shows your pet’s character. A close up shot, in good lighting is also ideal and helps to capture the important details that you love about your pet.

2. Consider what size, shape (such as a square or rectangle) and orientation (vertical or horizontal) piece you’d like. It helps to think about where the piece might hang. The photo you’ve chosen also often helps dictate these details.

3. If it’s a pet portrait, consider what you’d like in the background. I’m happy to make recommendations based on the photos that you send. Options can include the bare wood of the wood panel, a coloured stain that shows the wood grain, or a solid colour to contrast your pet’s fur.

If you have questions about any of this, please send me an email and I’d be happy to answer them. Otherwise, please complete the order form and I’ll follow-up with you.
